New Jersey Devils Facts
The New Jersey Devils have been a member of the National Hockey League since 1974 and were originally known as the Kansas City Scouts, then Colorado Rockies. In 1982, the franchise was moved to New Jersey and named the Devils, after the New Jersey legend. The Devils have had a strong presence in the NHL Playoffs over the last two decades, winning 3 Stanley Cup Championships (1995, 2000 and 2003). They also have one of the great goaltenders and NHL all-time regular season wins leader in Martin Brodeur.
