First off, I'll admit that I'm 25 and bought this for myself. I'm 5'9" but thin, so usually I can buy jerseys in L/XL kids since they're usually about the same as an adult small (but cheaper!). But surprisingly this is way too big all around (I can fit this over a thick sweatshirt and it's still too wide/long). So if you're buying this for a small kid, definitely go with the S/M size. If you're buying this for an older kid, teen, or yourself, it's worth the extra money to get a real adult jersey. This one feels like those cheap jerseys you wear in high school PE, and the logos are screen-printed, so they probably won't last long. Not recommended for anyone other than a young kid who won't know the difference, and won't wear it often. But then odds are the jersey is too big for them....
